Areas of Expertise
First-hand experience with medical supply/device transactions through various channels. Each channel has strengths and weaknesses and, accordingly, certain channels are ideal for certain products. The industry is ever-changing and highly regulated -- I can help educate you and guide you to the proper channel(s.)
Before a hospital buys medical devices/supplies, the physician, supply chain, and, if applicable, value analysis committee (VAC) must all be on board. During your product review, you need to be on a GPO contract, or sign a local contract. I provide insight regarding who to call on, as well as provide guidance during your sales calls and negotiations. I also share pitfalls you should avoid.
Selling to the Hospital and Surgeon
Simply manufacturing a better product will not guarantee success -- you need to sell it. I can navigate you through the sales cycle. If your product is proprietary, you are going to have to pave the way, which has challenges. If you product has competition, you will be faced with different challenges. I created markets and/or displaced the competition for 14 years. I can help you find the way.

Temida, LLC | October 2013 - Current | Founder
Temida exists to provide order and value to the hospital supply chain purchasing function. We recognize the dichotomy between a hospital’s lean operating structure and the practitioner’s access to optimal products for patient care. On behalf of our clients, we will use our expertise to negotiate value and savings with vendors while providing continued access to state-of-the-art products. Our goal is achieved once we realize the savings through procurement, and provide balance between product cost and the intrinsic value of the product utilized by the practitioner.
