Areas of Expertise
Critical to the success of any healthcare system is the integration of physicians to lead the quality and change efforts. Based on my experience with multi-specialty medical groups, I have established key steps to creating leadership models with clear roles and accountabilities to help move the enterprise forward under the new healthcare environment.
Clinical Leadership Development
I completed an educational training fellowship focused on understanding and applying performance-based training and development techniques including curriculum design, delivery methods, training technology and evaluation. My experience led to the creation of an intranet training platform based on the Center for Creative Leadership training model.
I am board certified through the American College of Medical Practice Executives with professional competence in medical practice management including: business operations, financial management, human resource management, information management, organizational governance, patient care systems, quality management and risk management. My true passion incorporates lean methodologies.
