Ritam is a very meticulous and hard working person. I had the opportunity to work with him as an intern in medical school and it was a positive experience in terms of the amount of work accomplished as well as the quality. What comes across as a rare quality is his ability to manage time. He has the ability to work on several platforms at the same time and not lose sight of any of the objectives.

Ritam and I completed the MPH program in the same year at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and worked in different groups at the same institution thereafter. He is an intelligent, hardworking, and highly motivated scientist with a wide range of academic interests. His pace of professional growth over the past few years has been quite remarkable, and he has accomplished this while developing a broad network of social and professional contacts, which attests to his genial and charismatic personality. I anticipate that he will emerge as a leader in the field of epidemiology in the not too distant future.

Ritam is an incredibly intelligent and thoughtful epidemiologist. While his breadth and depth of knowledge is remarkable, the most impressive aspect of working with Ritam is his passion for perfection, balancing academic theory, statistical rigor and realistic approaches to public health. He has the insight to apply contextual caveats when appropriate and standardization when needed. He is detail-oriented, fair and his door is always open to those who wish to learn. Ritam is an exceptional mentor and colleague!

Ritam is an experienced Epidemiologist and Biostatistician with deep insights into clinical study designs and complex statistical approaches for clinical research questions. He is very well versed in SAS programming and other major statistical languages. We have worked together in two large, NIH funded cohort studies and I was throughly impressed by his work ethics and analytic insights. Considering that, in addition, Ritam has a medical training background, it becomes evident that he will be a valuable asset to any clinical research program. I am happy to provide additional information as needed.
